The AGV-8 1000.5Y Automatic Comparator for Determination of Mass Standard’s Density and Volume determines the density and volume of mass standards in class E1 in accordance with OIML R111. The highest readability and measurement stability in the range from 1 g to 1 kg are its assets.
 
 
 

8-Position Mass Standard Magazine

The instrument allows the density of up to seven test weights to be determined using a single reference standard. It is equipped with a circulator for eliminating air bubbles. The wire-suspended weighing pan minimises eccentricity error and the influence of liquid surface tension.
 
 
 

Weighing in Air and in Liquid

The AGV comparator uses the most accurate method for determining the density of mass standards, which involves weighing the mass standard “in air” and then in a liquid of known density.
 
 
 

Three-Point Temperature Measurement

The AGV comparator is equipped with a high-performance thermometer with a resolution of 0.001°C with three liquid temperature sensors. By measuring at three points in the container (at the bottom, middle and surface), you are able to see the difference and, if necessary, mix and equalise the temperature of the liquid in the container. Otherwise, there is a risk of obtaining incorrect density measurement results.
 
 
 

Anti-Draft Chamber

A component that insulates the measurement results from external influences (gusts, draughts) is the anti-draft chamber. It makes measurements more accurate and stable.
 
 
 

Density Determination Software

With the comparator, you receive a computer with density determination software installed. The software allows the density of mass standards to be determined and the uncertainty to be calculated using A method in accordance with OIML R111. In addition, it allows the density of liquids to be verified.
 
 
 

Ergonomic Operation

10’ colour touchscreen display makes the instrument comfortable to use. Easy access to numerous applications and weighing functions is guaranteed by the ability to personalise the home screen according to user needs. The terminal is equipped with two programmable proximity sensors to which you can assign any function.
