Overview

AKM-2.50.1.5Y Automatic Mass Comparators

What is the AKM-2 Automatic Mass Comparator?

It is a device for automatic determination of mass deviations of a single mass standard in one measurement cycle. AKM-2.50.1.5Y comes in a 2-position version: for 1 reference standard and 1 test standard. For maximum convenience, the device is equipped with an automatic sliding feeder, which facilitates the application of mass standards with large masses. The AKM-2.50.1.5Y mass comparator allows comparison of mass standards with masses of 5–50 kg in E1 class and lower.

How Does the Mass Comparator Work?

The supervising part of a mass comparator is a digital module which cooperates with a controller of device’s mechanical components. The automatic mass loader (loading robot) features a basis with self-centering fields, lift and weighing module equipped with a self-centering pan. The digital module and the loading robot are located in mass comparator’s weighing chamber. The lift is handled by a comparator controller. The device is operated by means of digital display which is plugged to mass comparator’s controller.

Lengthwise shift of the loading robot with mass standards is carried out automatically using solenoid actuators, which eliminates comparator eccentricity errors. Additional software functions enable loading and taking off the mass standards, data processing and storing, and data exporting to device’s memory.

Want to Know More Advantages?
Here They Are:

Fully automatic change of the comparison range

With this function, the device itself selects the appropriate comparison range depending on the mass of the sample.

Capability to perform the dissemination process

The ability of the device to transfer the measurement readability that the mass standard has to other working masses.

Self-centering weighing pan

It places the object in the optimal position, i.e. in the middle.

2-position magazine

for 1 reference standard and 1 test standard.

Anti-vibration table with granite stone

It reduces the influence of ambient vibrations to a minimum.

Anti-draft weighing chamber

included as standard equipment.

What Else? 5Y Weighing Terminal

Our mass comparators are equipped with a state-of-the-art 5Y weighing terminal, which makes work much easier thanks to its large display and multiple interfaces.

The 5Y Weighing Terminal connects directly to:
  • Smartphone or tablet (Hotspot)
  • Spreadsheet (USB-C, Free Link)
  • Printer (Ethernet, Wi-Fi®, USB-A)
  • Computer (Ethernet, Wi-Fi®, USB-A)
  • Barcode scanner (USB-A)
  • Any large screen (HDMI)
  • Computer software (RADWAG communication protocol)
  • Keyboard and mouse.

AKM-2 automatic comparators, thanks to the elimination of the “human factor”, temperature changes and air drafts, are characterized by the best repeatability of measurements – much better than manual comparators.
