On 30 September, a seminar entitled Dedicated RADWAG Solutions for Mass Metrology was held in Dubai. It consisted of two modules: multimedia presentations and parallel product workshops. In the first part of the day, experts from RADWAG and Himatrix discussed their presentations enitled Mass Comparators – Advanced RADWAG Solutions for Traceability of Measurements and The Influence of Ambient Conditions on Calibration of Mass Standards. Then, during parallel sessions, specialists from both companies introduced participants to selected RADWAG products:

• Robotic measuring station for comparison of mass standards – RMC 1000.5Y Robotic Mass Comparator
• Measuring station for comparison of mass standards at a constant atmospheric pressure or negative pressure of 10-6mBar – AVK 1000.5Y Automatic Vacuum Mass Comparator
• Measuring station for testing other physical parameters of mass standards as per OIML R111 (density, volume and magnetism) – SM 5Y.A Automatic Susceptometer and SM-MYA 5.5Y Manual Susceptometer

as well as analysed the influence of measuring automation on repeatability of mass comparators, using the example of the AK-4.2000.5Y and AKM-2.20.5Y Automatic Mass Comparators.
