The AVK 1000.5Y.LLS Automatic Vacuum Mass Comparator equipped with pumps and Load-Lock System is an advanced device for precise mass measurement under vacuum conditions, equipped with a modern LOAD LOCK system. With built-in vacuum pumps, it ensures stable measuring conditions and minimises the influence of external factors on the results. Revolutionary LOAD LOCK system

To further increase operating efficiency, the AVK-1000.5Y.LLS comparator is equipped with the innovative LOAD LOCK mass standard transfer system. It allows the exchange of mass standards without having to change the atmosphere in the main chamber, reducing the time for changing standards by up to 90%. LOAD LOCK has its own high-capacity pumping system, in which the time it takes for the air to be pumped out to reach a vacuum that allows the connecting valve to the main chamber to be opened is significantly reduced. The stabilisation time for the main chamber after replacing/ adding a mass standard and closing the connecting valve with the LOAD LOCK system is approximately 4 hours. This solution saves time and increases productivity, as well as minimising downtime associated with pumping out air again.
 
 
 

Vacuum suitcases

RADWAG’s LOAD LOCK system also enables the loading of the sample from the main chamber into a special vacuum suitcase and the transfer of the sample in a vacuum atmosphere. The suitcase maintains the vacuum for a long time without exposing the mass standards to the atmosphere.
 
 
 

The pre-pump

It works on the principle of mechanical suction of gases and their compression. Its main task is to reduce the pressure to a level where the turbomolecular pumps can operate effectively. These pumps are capable of producing a vacuum of 10-3 to 10-4 hPa.

The turbomolecular pump

It uses impellers rotating at very high speeds to accelerate gas molecules. These molecules are “pulled” into the pump by the action of centrifugal force. It allows much lower pressures (up to 10-10 hPa) to be achieved than pre-pumps.

 
 
 
 

Vacuum gauges

The high-performance vacuum gauges used allow monitoring and comparison of vacuum values to determine the point at which the valve can be opened and the gauge replaced. A specially manufactured viewfinder allows the entire process to be monitored.

Self-centring weighing pan

This is a component of the comparator which ensures that the mass standard is always in the centre of the pan, regardless of its initial position. It eliminates the problem of eccentricity.
 
 
 

Thermohygrobarometer

It exercises comprehensive control over the precision measurement environment, increasing accuracy and improving repeatability.
 
 
 

Anti-vibration table with granite top

It eliminates the effects of ambient vibration to keep measurements stable during weighing. You receive the table together with the comparator.
 
 
 

Intuitive operation

The device features an advanced 10’’ touchscreen display for intuitive operation and complete function management. Additional security features in the form of user authentication (RFID tags*, passwords) and full reporting ensure the highest level of security and control over the measurement process.
