On April 22-23, Dubai hosted the 2nd Gulf Metrology Forum. Metrology for Sustainability. We are proud to announce that along with our exclusive distributor in the UAE, Himatrix, we were its gold sponsor.

The second day of the event featured the GULFMET METROLOGY FORUM 2024. Digitalization and Automation in Mass Metrology. It consisted of lectures given by RADWAG partners and product workshops conducted by our experts. The lectures covered:

• Application of RADWAG AVK 1000.5Y Vacuum Mass Comparator in the determination of mass standards density
• Dissemination procedure.

The first lecture was given by RADWAG’s long-time partner and friend, Tadeusz Szumiata PhD., D.Sc., head of Department of Physics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Casimir Pulaski Radom University. We are proud to announce that the co-authors of the paper are RADWAG employees: Michał Solecki, Sławomir Janas, Piotr Bobrowski and Cezary Tomaszewski.

In turn, during the workshops, RADWAG experts discussed issues related to devices of our production and demonstrated their work. We provided the event participants with the following product stations:

• Test bench for comparison of standards at constant atmospheric pressure or vacuum of 10-6 mBar (AVK 1000.5Y.LLS)
• Robotic measuring station for the comparison of mass standards in the range 0.1 mg – 1 kg by dissimination process (RMC 1000.5Y)
• Station testing the impact of automation of the measurement process on the repeatability of mass comparators (AK-4.2000.5Y and AKM-2.20.5Y)
• Calibration station for volume calibration of single and multichannel piston pipettes (AP-12.5Y).

All the workshops focused on RADWAG devices, that is: automatic, robotic and manual mass comparators as well as AP-12.5Y Automatic Device for Multichannel Pipette Calibration.
