On 16 November 2024, RADWAG Office in China, RADWAG Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd, organised a metrology symposium in Shanghai. Its keynote speaker was Dr Wang Jian, Deputy Director of Division of Mechanics and Acoustics Metrology in National Institute of Metrology in China (NIM). The doctor’s paper dealt with:

• The status of China’s Watt scale project
• The role of the NMI in the Chinese economy
• The new definition of the kilogram.
