On 23 June, the RADWAG PHARMA DAY seminar took place in Athens. It was organised by LINK LAB, the exclusive distributor of RADWAG products in Greece, together with RADWAG, a manufacturer of electronic balances and a global leader in this field.

The seminar was designed for specialists from quality assurance and validation departments who are responsible for precision weighing and calibration processes, as well as for ensuring the highest standards of laboratory work. Due to the interactive format and the emphasis on the quality of the event, the number of participants was limited to 60.

During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest solutions in mass measurement technology, learn about RADWAG’s advanced equipment as well as discuss current regulatory and validation requirements applicable in laboratory environments. Equipment demonstrations and the exchange of experiences between industry experts were also key elements of the programme.

The seminar programme included, amongst other things:

• A presentation of RADWAG and its position in the global market for advanced laboratory equipment
• An overview of the 5Y balances series designed for the most demanding pharmaceutical applications
• The premiere presentation of the X7 series
• Industrial solutions, with particular emphasis on weighing terminals, the proprietary E2R software, industrial platforms and mass converters
• Weighing systems designed for potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex) in accordance with ATEX 137 requirements
• Weighing modules, including options for integration with IT systems and specialised software.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, live presentations and a summary of the key issues relating to modern weighing technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.

The ‘RADWAG PHARMA DAY’ seminar in Athens provided an excellent opportunity to expand knowledge, learn about the latest technological solutions as well as establish valuable contacts amongst professionals representing the pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors.
